Ambi-Sonic is a collective of dj's/music producers in the San Francisco Bay area with a passion for thought provoking music. The type of music we gravitate toward is not dance music nor is it just ambient soundscapes, but an inner medium that fits between lush electronica to world beat music. We are dedicated in seeking out what we think is some of the best and most forward thinking music in the world and bringing it to a wider audience.  Some people refer to the music we play as Downtempo, Chill Out or Lounge Music. We simply refer to it as good music with a mellow vibe.

Ambi-Sonic started in 2003 in the Oxygen Bar SF and since has expanded out to other locales in the Bay Area, playing to audiences at Cafe's, Happy Hour hot spots as well as being the "chill room" at various clubs and parties. For the Ambi-Sonic crew its more than just playing or dj'ing. We hope that we are bringing to our audience a musical blend of sounds that they most likely haven't heard that they will enjoy and appreciate.

The Ambi-Sonic Collective is always looking to collaborate and work with other groups, artists, labels and other ambient heads like ourselves. We have put together chill rooms and provided musical soundscapes for many bars, parties and events.
